I have been self-employed for over thirty years. I had a Transport business for many years in which I drove many, many miles in trucks. In 2012, I sold my business and became a driving instructor which is a job I love very much. I have seen a lot of tragic incidents happen on the roads over the years and witness daily people not doing the right things on the roads This has given me a passion to try and instil into all my student the importance of safe driving practices. I am a very calm and non-stressed person who also makes a driving lesson a relaxing and enjoyable experience I have been with my wife Lynda for over 30 years and have kids grandkids a dog and a cat .I played a lot of sport when I was young and still take an interest in the AFL and still enjoy watching the cricket. I am a Department of Transport qualified instructor. Both my parents are Irish, and I was born and raised in England. I always say, I'm Irish by heritage, English by birth and Australian by choice! After leaving the military and migrating to Australia in 1991, I started driving trucks and became an Armed Security Officer. I developed an interest in ATM's, becoming a technician, then teaching ATM maintenance as well. I eventually became the state supervisor for WA, then a National Technical Support Role within the company. As we all know ATMs and cash are on the decline, so a new career was on the cards. Having taught my three children, family friends and my wife to drive, they all encouraged me to become a driving instructor, so I decided to take the plunge and get qualified and give it a go professionally. I have gained a great amount of experience, including a large amount of NDIS work, teaching people on the spectrum and with disabilities, which I am very good at, and I have found it rewarding. It's a great feeling to see all of my student’s progress from being a complete novice, to passing their test. I am an active member of the veteran community in Perth having helped start the Royal Air Force Veterans Association in Perth. I have been a founding WA member and active member of the Military Brotherhood, Military Motorcycle club - helping and fundraising for veterans causes.

After graduating Edith Cowan University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business, Jazmin commenced work as a trainer and assessor in the business and finance sector. Jazmin has worked both as an “in-house” trainer and Training Manager within an RTO. In 2013 Jazmin decided to become qualified as a driving instructor and hasn’t looked back.
